2010 Summer Vacation Plans…a look back

My 2010 Summer Travel Plans are beach, beach and more beach.  I am actually getting ready to leave again for Atlantic City, NJ.  This is both hubby and the kids favorite place to go.  We live close enough to do an overnight trip.  One of my favorite spots there is White House Sub Shop.  I actually tried hot peppers here and love them.  I’ve had turkey, italian and chicken cheese steak subs.  We always stop here.  Once summer starts, there will be lines around the block and nowhere to park.  I order on the way in town and have hubby run in while I circle the block.  On rainy days, there are outlets to shop in and in the bottom floor of Tropicana, there is an Imax theater.  2 of the most kid friendly boardwalk spots are Nathan’s hotdogs and Rainforest Cafe.  Another manadatory trip will be to Ocean City Maryland.  Since Oma and Papi have a beach house there, we go there most weekends and also visit Assateague Island to see the ponies.  Now that the girls can swim, we are also planning a trip to Frontiertown, an outdoor waterpark.  Since hubby works weekends, we will do day trips to HersheyPark, DorneyPark and Sesame Place as well as our back to school shopping trip to NYC.
