If you read this blog, you know of both of my daughter’s obsession with horses. They keep asking to get one during our many trips to Chincoteague and Assateague but being that we live in an urban environment I am not sure where we would keep a horse.
I don’t get much free time to play games, but I will take any excuse I can to go on Facebook. When I was offered a chance to review Horse Haven on Facebook I was game. The kids had a cat game where you create a virtual pet and interact with it. I love this idea. Horse Haven is the same premise, take care of horses, breed them, build buildings and feed them.
You get a certain amount of energy to use and doing activities uses your energy. You can grow food for your horses and complete mini quests in your side bar to accomplish for rewards. You can request help from friends by posting to your wall. I haven’t had a chance to do that yet but I will soon.
It does remind me of when all my friends were rushing home to water their crops and I was laughing at them. I would never tell them why I had to rush off the phone with them, or to stop messaging me on Facebook. I tell them I have to get the kids a snack, or give them a bath so I can indulge in my guilty pleasure. I love the game and my 8 year old loves the game. I don’t usually allow her on facebook, but have made an exception.
