Ways to Love the Moment in Virginia Beach!

We started going to Virginia Beach when I was a little girl. I remember these cool seashell and dolphin statues all along the beach and riding my bike along these sidewalks. It was one of the best family vacations we ever took.

As a grown up, Virginia Beach has a lot to offer for each member of your family. They have activities listed on their website weekly. The Virginia Board of Tourism makes it extremely easy to find out what is going on and where you can stay.  You can even request a travel guide.

I check the website before we go down.  I saw several bands last time I was there absolutely free. We have also been to the Kite Show and the Air Show which provided affordable family fun.

I love the beach because it is incredibly clean.  The first time I saw dolphins swimming along the skyline was in Virginia Beach.
Virginia Beach offers tons of boating/fishing and watersport activities.

For the true athlete they offer golf, several road races and a half marathon. For the art lover, they have an Andy Warhol exhibit unveiling this May. .  For rainy days there is a large mall providing fun for mommies and kiddos as well as an aquarium.

For the adventurous types, surfing, deep sea fishing, kayaking and jetskiing can help you Love the Moment in Virginia Beach.  For the kids, miles and miles of sand and jets flying overhead work the imagination.  Pretending you are stranded on an island, you can build sandcastles and airports with runways strips.

For the whole family, tons of great restaurants offering every food imaginable from pizza to seafood.  Finish off the family fun with a round of putt putt.

And of course, for the lovers, watching the romantic sunset, and having a picnic on the beach is one of the best ways to never forget your vacation.

With so much to do for each member of your family, who can resist a trip to Virginia Beach?  So grab your cameras and your sunscreen and head down to this family friendly destination.  Don’t forget to capture every memory so you can Love the Moment for a long time.
