Fireworks, cookouts and chocolate? I am a big fan of any occasion to eat chocolate. I am picky, I like milk and white chocolate. I am also a big fan of almonds. Recently I had a chance to try Hershey’s Simple Pleasures in three varieties-milk chocolate with vanila cream, dark chocolate with chocolate cream and milk chocolate with strawberry cream. Although I am dieting, I allowed myself a small treat because Hershey’s Simple Pleasures have 30% less fat than the average of leading chocolates.
I am inviting my readers to join me in signing the Declaration of ”Sweet Independence” and feel guilt free about loving chocolate. You can enjoy life’s simple pleasures while living a balanced lifestyle. Men and Women are invited to join in by signing on Facebook and sharing what you are celebrating your independence from.
Since I am a school employee I try to declare my summer independence from stress but then I work a summer job. After a long day of being on my feet, I come home, stretch out and enjoy a sweet indulgance whether it is a snack or 5 minutes of quiet.
If I could eat any food and be guilt free I would eat a nice piece of cheese cake and savor every bite. I always feel guilty when I eat it. I enjoy going to cookouts so I can take a small piece of each dessert and enjoy a few bites. Being a summer baby and having a sweet tooth, I love that Hershey’s give me an alternative to a guilt ridden treat.
