My 8 year old can read.  And she usually sits right next to me doing homework when I check my email after work.  ”Almost Naked Animals!!!” she screamed in my ear when she saw the email.  The box came and my 5 year old ripped it open, immediately tossing aside the packing.  ”This is mine”.  She proceeds to get in her underwear, put it in the tote bag with the animals in their underwear, grab the dvd and go up to her room to watch it.  Almost immediately I heard giggling.  My older daughter grabbed the tossed aside journal that came in the package and began telling me about the characters. She told me the show was written by the same guy who did “Fish Hooks” and that watching shows on Cartoon Network is cool and the other networks are more like you watch with your younger siblings.  Oh my!

She then went upstairs and ripped the t shirt for her sister’s hand and came down victoriously wearing the shirt as a dress.  They finally stopped fighting long enough to watch, “It’s my Party” Volume 1 available September 26.  It can be purchased for $6.99 at Target.
