End of Summer with Modge Podge #plaidcrafts

Plaid Crafts totally understands.  Before I had kids, I loved DIY and crafting.  My mom, Grammie and Nana taught me to sew, crochet, knit, counted cross stitch.  Once my daughters were born, if I wanted a headband or something trendy, I couldn’t afford it so I made it myself.

Kaley caught the craft bug, she’s ready to modge podge

Kaley was bored so I decided to teach her to Modge Podge.  All she had was my fashion and recipe magazines but she managed to find pictures of cats, dogs and a guinea pig.

thanks to plaid crafts for sending us modge podge

Our friends at Plaid Crafts sent us a variety of modge podge as well as podge-able pendants, so she set off to make some necklaces.

Here she is, she got the hang of it really quickly

She didn’t want to stop, she was having so much fun.

She managed to find a very similar guinea pig to Sunday to make a necklace.

We had a great time.  More Modge Podge Halloween crafts to come.

*disclosure I was provided with samples from Plaid Crafts, all ideas are my 5 year olds.
